She came to me wanting a brand that felt both professional and personal. Something that could hold its own against the established names, but with a character all of its own. Gemma is a proud metalhead, and early on she mentioned that a subtle rock influence would put a smile on her face. As the project developed, subtle went out the window. We leaned all the way in, landing on a positioning that felt completely right: rock-solid finance with a rebel spirit.

THE WORDMARK & STRAPLINE

The HAWKHURST wordmark is built on clean, confident simplicity. No fluff, no fuss. The sharp, angular serifs carry just enough edge to hint at the personality underneath without shouting about it.


The strapline is where things get interesting. The top line stays clean and structured, reinforcing the trust and reliability that any credible accountancy brand needs. Then "REBEL SPIRIT" breaks loose. Raw brush lettering, full of energy, and deliberately disruptive. It says everything about what makes Hawkhurst different.

THE BRANDMARK

The hawk is caught mid-descent, wings flared, talons ready. It is a deliberately powerful image: precise, focused, and decisive. The angular construction ties directly back to the typography, keeping the whole identity coherent. That forward lean is not accidental either. It speaks to momentum, to leadership, and to the proactive, commercially-minded approach Gemma brings to every client.
